Hi All,

I have XP Pro, SP2, and a CyberDrv CD-RW drive (with the
latest firmware installed).

When I write files using the XP 'write these files to CD'
functionality, I often (if not always, recently at least)
lose all pre-existing files from the CD written to - even
though those files I'm adding are not already present on
the CD.

Anyone else experienced this problem, or have any ideas
what might be causing it? It's starting to get on my
nerves, as I have several partially full CDs I would like
to add additional files to, and currently have no means of
doing so without destroying the existing data.

Many thanks,

LemonSmasher.

You are not formatting the disk are you? As well I hope
you are not choosing XP to erase any data prior to
writing new data. XP will multisession cd-r or cdrw disks
with no issues.
