I have also tried finding about a printer capable of CD printing and
as per the above discussion have also come to the sad conclusion that
in the US the only printer capable of CD printing --at the consumer
level -- is the Epson R300 or 900. Being that the Canon i865 and i965
seem like near identical versions sans the cd-printing capabilities of
the i860 and i960>> Does anyone know if in the UK there are Kits to
say, replace a damaged cd-tray of a i865. Alternatively I have thought
of purchasing the i865 or i965 and using them here: would need to get
220AC current near the computer, etc. But not only that , I emailed a
seller in the UK and he replied saying that he would be unable to ship
the unit based on shipping restrictions after 9/11. Anybody has
comments or ideas re above issues.

Also the Epson R200 just coming on the market Retail $99.00 +-

R200 does not support CD printing(no CD tray). It's mainly photos only.

Not true. The R200 does print on CD's/DVD's and does have a tray for
doing so. Look at the Epson FAQ for this printer. Instructions for
this are in the manual, starting on page 32. There is also a manual
supplement that specifically covers inserting the CD/DVD tray.

The R200 is nothing but a R300 without any advanced control for stand alone
printing

wouldn't worry about the 9/11 stuff, just try another dealer. I'm a dealer
in Australia and haven't heard anything from my Canon distributors.

If you were very keen I'm sure you could take the PSU from a i860 and put it
into a i865 to make a 110v i865.
