Any way to get CD-R adapter for i860 (i865)?

I know that the non-North American versions of the Canon i860, i960, and
i900 (sold as i865, i965, and i905) come with an adapter that lets you
print directly to CDs. Has anybody found a way to order this adapter in
the US? I know it officially can't be sold here, but I thought there
might be a way to order it from over seas. I'm very happy with my i860,
but direct CD printing would be the icing on the cake... Any help would
be appreciated. Thanks!

It isn't an "adapter" it's part of the unit. I have an i9950 (i9900).
Basically you load the disc onto a 'tray', pull a lever to raise the paper
output tray and slide the CD tray into position and then set it up via print
properties. When finished, you lift the paper output tray manually and slide
it back down into the paper printing position.

Well, you've already answered your question if you think about it.
Send the money to someone you trust overseas and get them to mail it
to you. Surface (cheapest) shipping to the USA (I'm in Australia)
takes from 50-60 days. Airmail about 9 days.

Allan.
