CD photos

I recorded photos onto a cd-r previously with Windows 98.
I then upgraded to Windows xp, and am now unable to access
any content on the cd. None of the data (photos) is
recognized and the computer reads the cd as empty. Is
there a program or otherwise that I can use to read the cd?

How did you record on the CD when you made it with Windows 98? Roxio Easy CD
Creator, Nero, etc.?
If you did, you need to install the same on XP. However, you need the
updated version that will work on XP. So you need to go to the Internet site
of the software manufacturer you used to copy to the CD using 98 and install
the updated version for XP.
