cd open/eject

Very strange thing has happened!!My cd and separate dvd
drive will not open or eject! It has been operating fine
until the other evening.I have managed to manually open
the drawer by using the small hole. Where can I look to
solve the problem? I have checked the troubleshooter to
make sure that the drivers are still there. I have also
uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. I have been
battling with this problem for three evenings until
3oclock in the morning. HELP PLEEZE!!!!!!

Hi

Go to My Computer, right click on the drive and click the eject button, can the tray be ejected
Have you checked for any spywares, trojan horse and virus
Have you installed/removed any applications previously

If you're using software like EasyCd or Nero go in and try to eject from
the program.
