CD Keeps Ejecting Before Copy

Can someone please assist. When attempting to save music
from a CD onto Windows Media (so that it becomes part of
the library), I have found that the disk ejects prior to
the end of the copy.
For example if I select a particular soundtrack, then
only about 7% of it actually copies and then the CD
ejects of its own accord.
Help would be greatly appreicated.
