CD in caddy but not found

Help please My cd drive will not recognise now when a cd goes in it asks me
to insert cd, I have only had this problem for a short while checked device
and it says the cd drive ok, my re writer still works on other cd but I am
not sure what to check next
 
Hi everyone I found the answer was the CD reader had packed up had to buy new
CD Reader
