cd/dvd rom/burner explorer vol label clearing prob?

Hi all.

My problem is I don't know how to clear the volume
label from a previous CD/DVD in Windows Explorer
or My Computer after a new CD/DVD is inserted.
Windows Explorer retains the previous vol label and info.

I've tried refresh, explore open etc.

I have AutoPlay turned off, maybe that's the problem.
