CD/DVD Drive

when you attach/install an internal CD/DVD drive, do you need to set
anything as master/slave drive? I am thinking of using a separate cable
to do this. I am not replacing anything except trying to install a new
one on a PC with no CD drive.
 
yep if you only have one set it to master if you install another one on the
same data cable
you would set it to slave. There are jumpers on the back of the cdrom/dvd
for the setting.
