cd/dvd drive autoplay how to reset

A menu of options (play with Media Player, Explore, etc) used to open
up when I put any sort of media in my cd/dvd drives. Now if I put an
audio cd in the drive it will automatically explore the disc and
display the .cda files. I've gone to My Computer, to the drive and
it's autoplay properties and selected "restore default" properties
which appears it would once again give the options, but this didn't change
anything, it still explores the disc. I also selected "Prompt me for an
action" after selecting Music files from the drop down list which also
changed nothing.
The last time the menu worked I did NOT make "explore" the
default action.

Can anyone tell me how to reset it so the menus will again be
available, AND, how can I add another choice as one of the menu choices?

I have XP Home Edition 2002 w/Service Pack 2

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the reply Will. I tried that but it didn't fix it. Thanks for
trying though!
