My CD drive won’t open and it does not work I used a paper clip to open my
CD drive, and put in a CD, but it won’t run it. I go to My Computer and I
don’t even see a drive letter for my CD drive.

Can anyone help me on what I need to do to get this to work?

Thanks

If the drive is broken, to the point that the drawer will not open and
close without the aid of a paper clip, designate it as "broken" and get a
new one. It's cheaper to replace it than to repair it.

One last ditch effort before replacing: Check connections to the drive.
Perhaps the power connection and/or drive cable is loose. Reconnect and
test. If still failing mechanically, see the first paragraph.
