CD burner won't eject the disk - causes system crash

Recently upgraded to XP Professional. Sony CDRW always worked before. Files seem to be written okay -- disk just won't finish and eject. Tried many programs e.g. XP program, Easy CD creator, etc. NOthing works. Iomega suggested to uninstall Active Disk from XP. Did this....did not help the problem.

I really need to use my CD burner.

Does anyone have any suggestions

Have you tried uninstalling Easy CD Creator, and reinstalling. It's a long
shot.

Somewhere in most burning software (usually burning options) you can set the
option to eject the CD after burning is complete.
