CD Burner rights

What rights are required to burn a CD with Windows 2000?
I have laptop in use on the domain with a CD-Burner but
have so far only been able to burn with it with admin
rights? Is that application specific or is it Win 2K
security in general? An assistance will be appreciated.

I believe it is application specific. I know that some programs can be
configured to allow regular users to burn cd's. You might want to check the
publisher's website for FAQ or try to contact them. There may be a generic
registry setting to change permissions on by I don't know it offhand. ---

I use Nero for burning. The installation CD comes with a small prog called I
think Burning Rights which allows you to set what users have those rights.
