Is it possible to CC individuals without having an attachment copied to them?
Another words, I am sending a email with an attachment to someone but I want
to CC others without the attachment.

Thanks

Not possible.

Since this is possible in Entourage, but not Outlook, I assume it has nothign
to do with Internet protocols I don't really understand these things, but it
seems to me it would be possible for Outlook to autocreate another email
without the attachments. Am I missing somehting, since I think this would go
a very long way to reducing load on email severs!

That's not exactly true. The SMTP protocol does not distringush during the
sending process between any of the recipients, whether they be in the To
field, the Cc field, or the Bcc field.

Clearly, if Entourage does as you claim, it is possible to program a mail
application to use some setting to send two distinct messages instead of one
where the contents differ only by the inclusion of an attachment. Outlook has
not been written to accommodate that. I can't see where the load on any
near-current mail server or network would be affected substantially by this.

I'd be interested in how you designate to Entourage that some recipients
should receive the attachment and others not.

The more I think about it, the more I think that, for the most part, you
actually ADD traffic by doing this when the recipients are all on the same
mail server since you must transmit TWO distinct messages instead of only one.
