Hello Gerald,
The CBS.persist.log is generated when the CBS gets to be around 50 meg in
size. CBS.log is copied to cbs.persist.log and a new cbs.log file is
started.
It should be safe to delete this log. It would be useful only for
trouble-shooting issues, if the cbs.log file is around 35-40 meg in size
the cbs.persist.log is probably at least a couple of weeks old or older.
Doubt it would be useful any longer.
