Caught in "Found New Hardware" Loop: Help!

I recently tried installing my SiPix 2.1 Megapixel Digital Camera. I went
most of the way through, but got a warning that it was not digitally signed.
I proceeded anyway, and the system crashed. I rebooted and decided to forget
it. Now, however, whenever I boot up, the Found New Hardware" window always
comes up with the SiPix 2.1 listed and wants to know if I want to proceed. I
just want to forget about installing it: how can I stop the "Found New
Hardware" window from appearing at startup? I can click it away, but it is
annoying.

Merry Christmas to all and thanks in advance to all the experts on this
board!

Hi Fred,

Try here - Control Panel > Performance & Maintenance > System > Hardware tab
Device Manager
Find your Digi Cam on the list & disable/delete it

Happy Festive, K :-)

Thanks. I think that might work. It was listed under "Imaging Devices" and
had a yellow exclamation mark by it. I uninstalled it. That should do it.
Appreciate your help!

I am also stuck in a "Found New Hardware" loop. Only mine is with a 4-in-1 Lexmark X6150 only every time I press finish, the thing just keeps popping up and it is VERY annoying. Only way I can stop it for a bit is to unplug the thing which I really don't want to do. Anyone know what I should do?

Check the web site of the company that made it for an updated driver.
