When I assing a task to somebody, as soon as my colleague open it, the
category is lost (they dont recive it and I lost it in my trask list).

I have tried the solution for sending the categories for outlook 2007 but
its not working in outlook 2003.

any suggestions?

Thank you

There's a Rule that strips Categories from incoming items. Turn it off or
add an exception to it - eg if subject includes "Task Request" may work.

It seems that is keeping the categories only in the case that I choose a
default category and when I'm, assigning it to a colleague if his/her outlook
language its the same as mine (so we both have same default names for the
categories).

Any other custom category get lost.

The rule you are refering to I guess is stored in the server..

I looked in there but there is nothing. Thats why I tought that main be form
the server they are applying rules that I cannot see..

Thanks anyway.
