These Linux nutcases get stranger by the day.
This one tops the list!

Still nymshifting, Gary Stewart (flatfish), and posting lies linking to other
lies that you 'planted' in the Web under my identity?

You really want that lawsuit for libel, don't you?

Why would anyone take such a drastic step just to protest DRM and
Microsoft's domination of the market?

Seems a little extreme to me.

Its strange that spliffing asstroturfers employed by Micoshaft Corporation
can ride high charging $600 for each post they send to the internet
while reality is that 20% of all windopws PCs are infected and owned
by bot net owners. Some hundred million+ PCs.

The world does not have billions of man hours to fix these
issues and its high time a windfall tax was imposed on micoshaft for
the huge toxic computer waste it has created so that it can
be given away to open source projects to spread the more
energy efficient green open source technologies.

Its already available free with source code here
http://www.livecdlist.com
http://www.distrowatch.com

You can see it in action
e.g. www.youtube.com and search for compiz and beryl.

I see computer owners daily who don't have a clue. In their estimation a
computer is just another machine such as a washing machine, cooker, sound
system, whatever. - And just like any of those machines they use it at will
without engaging brain until it goes wrong. Most haven't even heard of a
trojan or a bot other than the fable of Troy and what they sit on.

When a pikie non-tech-savvy wants a computer the first place they think of
is PC World; so off they go to get all the silver-tongued spiel from a
trained sales rip-off merchant who sells them a £900 computer with a
quad-core CPU, 4GB RAM, a 500MB Direct X 10 capable graphics
card...blah...for the person to send email and do some instant messaging on,
plus a £600 5-year extended-warranty, and utterly no information on
protection other than a copy of Norton Antivirus. It just happens that the
computer has Windows installed on it.

The pikey gets home and sets it up as instructed; making sure they publicise
their email address on all avenues available so that people can contact
them. They make sure that theym download and run every update emailed to
them by "Microsoft", and that they visit all the helpful links supplied in
their emails by people who want to help them by giving away free holidays,
money, sex, programs, etc...Within a week their computer breaks down [from
spyware and virus infestation etc.] and they scurry back to PC World who
charge them another £100 to remove 100 maalware and 68 viruses. Later they
discover that they were supposed to upgrade Norton, and that there's a thing
called "spyware", for which PC World sell them a program for £50 to prevent
it infecting their computer. Later the pikey has their ISP phoning up to
tell them that they've exceeded the maximum usage by sending 20GB of email
in a week, so they up their usage quota and leave the computer on 24/7 so
that it can send all that valuable information to others that it constantly
sends 24/7. A week later they go back to PC World to report that their ISP
has said that they sent another 20GB of data in a week but they only sent 3
emails and had a 2 hour instant message session with a German prostitute who
sent them emails with attachments which did nothing. PC World charge them
another £100 to remove more spyware and suggest that they upgrade thier
graphics card to a special PCI version...

And so it goes on.

Now if pikey had been educated in computers it would solve the problem. Ask
pikey what a rootkit is and they'll tell you it's a new method of garden
cultivation.

IF they'd been sold a PC with Linux on it and people had written all those
nasties for Linux then the problem would be the same. It's not Windows
that's to blaame; it's a lack of education of ****witted individuals who
don't want to learn and/or cant be bothered to find out, combined with a
sales-volume-driven PC retail industry pushing Windows for their profit.

Generally Lusers (Linux users) know how Linux works; they have to do so to
keep it working; and it pretty much takes a degree in computing to be able
to do so. Linux is a niche market for boffins who like fiddling with
computers and know exaactly what they're doing. (The fact that it eventually
turns them into uncommunicative knuckle-dragging nong-brained retaards is a
byproduct of its use; as can be clearly seen from a visit to COLA. Because
of its popularity, Windows is used by almost everyone from the clueless to
the experts; and it's the clueless who let the side down, as seen above.
The world does not have billions of man hours to fix these

In theory, and in the court of reasonable assumption you are correct.
However, real life does NOT work like that.
Companies, mine included, receive 1000's of resume's.
We sort and discard accrding to criteria.
One of those criteria is a google search.
Roy Schestowitz does extremely poorly in this area.

that they sent another 20GB of data in a week but they only sent 3
emails and had a 2 hour instant message session with a German
prostitute who sent them emails with attachments which did nothing.
PC World charge them another £100 to remove more spyware and suggest
that they upgrade thier graphics card to a special PCI version...

And so it goes on.

Now if pikey had been educated in computers it would solve the
problem. Ask pikey what a rootkit is and they'll tell you it's a new
method of garden cultivation.

IF they'd been sold a PC with Linux on it and people had written all
those nasties for Linux then the problem would be the same. It's not
Windows that's to blaame; it's a lack of education of ****witted
individuals who don't want to learn and/or cant be bothered to find
out, combined with a sales-volume-driven PC retail industry pushing
Windows for their profit.

Generally Lusers (Linux users) know how Linux works; they have to do
so to keep it working; and it pretty much takes a degree in
computing to be able to do so. Linux is a niche market for boffins
who like fiddling with computers and know exaactly what they're
doing. (The fact that it eventually turns them into uncommunicative
knuckle-dragging nong-brained retaards is a byproduct of its use; as
can be clearly seen from a visit to COLA. Because of its popularity,
Windows is used by almost everyone from the clueless to the experts;
and it's the clueless who let the side down, as seen above.

The world does not have billions of man hours to fix these

So educate the masses. : You're making the fuss; so you can make a
start.

issues and its high time a windfall tax was imposed on micoshaft for
the huge toxic computer waste it has created so that it can
be given away to open source projects to spread the more
energy efficient green open source technologies.

That's a great advert for it...
"Linux; run on rubbish by the technically-challenged."

10/10 for ingenuity and honesty.

What's wrong with using a quadcore with 4GB of RAM and a terabyte and
a half to do emails and surfing the hinternet? Slow computers are for
peasants with only one internet connection.

The point was that if someone asks for a flashbulb you don't sell them a
nuclear bomb.

Oh, OK. But if someone wants a system that can do whatever they want and
everything else besides, just in case then they can have a proper machine
rather than linux-kit?

I know people that have POS systems that are so old they cannot be upgraded
and apart from whacking an Ethernet card in there and setting them up with a
proper internet connection there's ****-all wrong with it for browsing text
sites, mail and Usenet.

For my own part, I have never had a thought which I could not set down
in words with even more distinctness than that with which I conceived
it. There is, however, a class of fancies of exquisite delicacy which
are not thoughts, and to which as yet I have found it absolutely
impossible to adapt to language. These fancies arise in the soul, alas
how rarely. Only at epochs of most intense tranquillity, when the
bodily and mental health are in perfection. And at those weird points
of time, where the confines of the waking world blend with the world of
dreams. And so I captured this fancy, where all that we see, or seem,
is but a dream within a dream.

Thanks. The issue is that I go on vacation this Tuesday and the trolls
can do all kind of s**t on the Web while I'm not watching. I'll have to
enable moderation in the blogs, for example, because they have flooded
them before (days ago).

And that says it all.
Sorry to dissapoint you Roy, but nobody really gives a shit what you
think.
You going on holiday is of no importance whatsoever except in your own
littl mind.

For some odd reason you seem to think that all that you have spouted here
in COLA, on digg and elsewhere means something.
Get real Roy, it means nothing other than sinking your career.

Search on roy+schestowitz+* and you will have it all.
You started this little experiment hoping you could see google with your
propaganda Roy.
In fact Roy, you have sunk yourslef.

FWIW I wouldn't hire you as a dustman.
Good luck.
You'll need it.

Perhaps we should go back to digitally signing posts again?
