cassette to CD using walkman

Hi, I read that I can use my walkman but how and where do
I connect the cable on the walkman and computer(i.e. in-
line or microphone jack on computer & headphones on
walkman)what cable do I need?

Connect it to the line in jack, using a 1/8" stereo to 1/8" stereo cable.

"I plugged one end into the headphone socket on my

personal cassette player and the other into the line in
jack on the computer. No sound came out at all. This is
beginning to drive me potty!! Can anyone give me a step by
step guide on how to do this? On musicmatch, I get no
sound at all coming through. Where am I supposed to hear
the sound from? Is it supposed to come out of the computer
speakers?
