i usually mount a case fan right under the powersupply top rear of a
midi case....should it blow into the case or pull air out of the
case...in a tower the heat tends to gather in this area...my logic
tells me it should suck the hot air out while pulling cool air from
the bottom front of the case
what is accepted practise???
thanks

It is recommended to have one fan in lower front pulling in, one in top rear
blowing out.

You've got it right. Blow the hot air out. It works along with the power
supply fan(s) to pull the air from the bottom front over the motherboard
and CPU and such and then out the back of the case.

Right.
