Cascading style sheets

I tried to ask this earlier and could not communicate well with the person
answering my post.

I am attempting to create my site using an external cascading style sheet.
The only portions of my help program that I can get to seem to indicate that
the way to do this is to go under FORMAT and select THEME. Then select the
theme I want and click the box that says apply as cascading style sheet. I
have done all that but I am not sure I am saving it correctly because I have
both these lines in my Html:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"
href="../../../../WINDOWS/TEMP/FrontPageTempDir/mstheme/artsy/arts1011.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../arts1011.css">
By the way, my problem may be in the way I am liking to these stylesheets.
Since I don't have full access to my help pages, I am not sure what I am
doing wrong. I also still have the meta tags for theme and border and I'm
sure that isn't supposed to still be in my HTML. I have even gone to our
local bookstore and I found a step by step book for FrontPage 2000 (the
program I have) and it refers me back to the help pages for the cascading
style sheets.

You absolutely do not need a theme in order to use a cascading style sheet.
Themes have their own problems. Do a Google search for css tutorials, and
you will learn how to design your own cascading style sheet. For specific
CSS questions you can always post to this news group.

Or start simply using File New Page and Selecting the Style Sheet tab for CSS templates
Then using Format Style Sheet Links and selecting the newly created .css file
