Cascading cobo box on tab controled sub form

My cascading combo boxes work fine when I run the Form on its own. However,
when I make the form a subform wich is on a tab control it does not work. I
know I have to tell the query where the first combo box is. However, I can
not seem to come up with the correct expression to do that. Any help would
be appreachiated.
 
Can you share with me the solution you came up with to solve this problem i
having the same issue sample code would be great
