CardSpace nonstandard app behavior looks like Shutdown

There is now an app in the Control Panel called CardSpace (3.0.4506.30) the
purpose of which is to store users' login info into a database. Invoking
this app causes a sudden darkening of the screen as does Shutdown -- to my
knowledge, only Shutdown darkens the Windows desktop in this manner -- and
many if not most users will be frightened by this nonstandard app behavior.
Users will think Windows is shutting down and that they are going to lose
their unsaved work.

I think you meant to post this to one of the Vista newsgroups. When you
do, make sure to include a question because I don't see one there.

Vista newsgroups:

What OS is this? What you are describing sounds like the secure desktop
feature in Windows Vista.
