Capture problems

I need help! I get no audio when I try to capture using either Movie Maker or Sonic MyDVD. I have tried every setting I can think of. Also, when I try to capture video I can not view the video but it plays back fine. I only have 800 X 600 video card. I am using the pinnacle 4.02 capture card. Also, when I try capture t.v. I get the same results. Can anyone help?
 
Analog video I presume. Try capturing the audio through the line in port on
the soundcard.... and ensure the line in isn't set to Mute.
