Caps Lock opens start menu

My Caps Lock key has started to open the start menu rather than locking the
caps. I think there is probably a key combination to do/undo this but I have
been unable to find it. Does anyone know how to correct it?

Try another keyboard. I don't think there's any setting that makes the caps
lock function as the windows key (what's the point?)

My Caps Lock has also started opening the Start Menu. That is th
reason I joined this forum. Any help would be appreciated
 
from a quick check on the web it would appear that your problem may be to do
with the keyboard mapping.
try a search in google for "keyboard mapping" you might find something there
