typing the lowercase I was always marked as a mistake and I could correct it
..But lately it has not been marked as a mistake. What happened and what can I
do to fix it?Should I call dell or windows tech support/

Navigate to C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail and open
UserDictionary.lex with Notepad. Delete the line with just the lower case
'I'.

I have done that and it did not work.I think that I foollowed the step and
this is what happened.C:/user/erin appaData /Local/Microsoft /WINDOWS MAIL I
nversaw anything about UserDictionary.lex. what am I doing wrong.

Click Start and type userdictionary.lex. The Start Search feature in Vista will find it.

This is the default folder path:
C:\Users\erin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\UserDictionary.lex
The file may be "hidden". I set my folder preferences to show all files and
not hide file extensions. I even put a shortcut to the dictionary on my
desktop and told Windows to open ".lex" files with Notepad so I can easily
change it. BTW, I think Frank meant to say delete the lower case i (not T).

If you take a closer look Ronc, you will not see T but ' I ' (I added a
couple of spaces to compensate for your bad eyesight) ;-))

"Delete the line with just the lower case 'I'."

Thanks. On my computer there is only one pixel space between the ' I ' and
the single quotes. Coincidentally, I went to my local eyeglass store today
to update my prescription.
