Can't view websites

Can't see graphics

Most websites I visit can't be viewed until I change the
encoding to user defines. M y default is western
Eauropean and I can't get it to default to anything else.
A lot of the sites I visit look very bad with no graphics
until I change the encoding.

Help Please.
