Can't view secure sites

I work for an ISP and we are noticing an increasing number of customers not
being able to view secure sites all of a sudden. Does anyone have any idea
if there is a registry key or something else to cause this behavior. Also,
do you know if this has been caused by any kind of trojan or product
patches?
