I cant view my hidden files. First of all, any access to the folder option
has tried to impossible (my tool menu is different and Folder Options doesn't
appear in Control Panel). I have managed to find an access through the Help
program but it tells me that this operation has been cancelled due to
restrictions in effect on this computer.

Please Help
Thanks

Scan your system for malware.

For Windows XP Professional:
1. Click Start - Run - type GPEDIT.MSC
2. Expand to
User Configuration
Administrative Templates
Windows Components
Windows Explorer
3. Double-click "Remove the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu" in
right side pane.
4. If it is set to "Enable" or "Not configured" then set it "Disable".

For both Windows XP and Home Edition: (Modifying registry need high
attention. Do it carefully)

1. Click Start - Run - type Regedit
2. Here expand to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
SOFTWARE
MICROSOFT
WINDOWS
CURRENTVERSION
POLICIES
EXPLORER
3. in the right-side pane check for the DWORD value NoFolderOptions
4. If it is not there then create a new DWORD value by right-clicking
NEW-DWORD
5. Type a name 'NoFolderOptions" and press Enter.
6. Double-click the entry and set the value to 0
7. Open any folder and see if Folder Options is there. If it is still not
there then Log Off and Log in again or make a restart

Further, you must check your computer for Spywares. Hope this information
helps you, let us know!

I'm sorry but it didn't work. Nothing has changed.
About the spywares, what program would you recommend me?
Thanks a lot

Go through these general malware removal steps systematically -
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

If the procedures look too complex, take your machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA). There is
no shame in doing this; I don't hesitate to call a plumber or take the
car to the mechanic.
