can't view messages that I send to myself

I cannot see the messages that I send to myself. I get other's peoples
messages and can read them.

When I send a message to myself and then try to retreive it, I downloads
fine from my provider, and the ding goes off, and it says I have a new
message, but I cannot see it. I have view all messages on.

This is a new problem and I cannot figure out what is the problem. I have
not had this happen to me before and it does not happen when I use Mozilla
Thunderbird.

Perhaps you've inadvertently added yourself to the Blocked Senders
list. Have you checked that list?

I checked my blocked list and I was not on it. Nevertheless, I then added
myself to safe senders list and that did the trick.

I do have a follow up question.

Where are those e-mails that I sent to myself that got blocked. Can I
retreive them? I have looked for them and cannot find them.

Those messages should have been deposited in the Junk E-mail folder.
Hopefully, you don't have those configured to delete immediately:
Tools, Junk E-mail Options, be sure to leave that last box ("Permanently delete...")
unchecked.
