Can't use shares in Telnet

We're deploying windows XP on our network, but we have one little problem.

A user logs on to a PC in the network, in my old 2000 system, if we
connected with telnet on that computer, we could use the shares of the
account physically logged in.

I try to do the same thing with Windows XP Professional, but when I connect
with telnet to the computer, I cannot use the share of the user logged in
physically.

I really need to be able to do that for further deployment with remoteware

Thank You

i know that in windows xp pro, telnet is disabled by default, because of
security issues with firewall, telnet service is in services in control
panel, performence and maintenance, administrative tools. services. you may
need to add it to the exceptions in the firewall to work. (if it doesn't by
it self.)
