Can't use self-burned DVD with Windows Movie Maker

HELP!! I dubbed an old VHS tape home movie to DVD. I finalized the DVD and
can play the DVD in Windows Media, but I can't save the DVD to my PC nor can
I open it with Windows Movie Maker. I get the following error message: "The
file E:\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO is not a supported file type, and it cannot be
imported into Windows Movie Maker." I thought about using the S Video
hook-up but can't figure out how to get that working either. Any advice??

Can you play a commercial DVD on your computer
with Windows Media Player? If not...you probably
need a DVD Decoder like...PowerDVD or Intervideo
WinDVD Recorder.
