Can't use mail merge for labels

I have no problem using mail merge for envelopes, but I'm trying to use it
for labels and I only get the same error message over and over. "A required
file, "schdmapi.dll" could not be loaded. Please check your email
installation and re-install Microsoft Word if necessary." Microsoft help
told me Netscape was to blame and gave instructions for changing Mapi email
settings. Unfortunately, the newest Netscape options doesn't jive with the
instructions. So, I removed Netscape. Same problem. I did a detect and
repair. I did a complete reinstall. I performed a removal and re-install.
I still can't print labels. And this problem exists on my desktop and my
wife's laptop, both running Windows XP Pro with the latest install of Office
2003 with all updates.

I simply want to print about 30 labels and I've spent hours trying to make
it work. I could have done this with a pen in 30 minutes! Please help. Why
does this need to be so difficult?

Not an Outlook issue. Mailmerge is a function of Word. Ask in a Word
newsgroup since that community understands that product.

Are you trying to use Outlook data for the labels? If so, for best results, start the merge from Outlook, in your Contacts folder, using the Tools | Mail Merge command.

Is there any more information on this schdmapi.dll error? I AM starting merge
from Outlook, in my Contacts folder, using the Tools/Mail Merge command. I
have also reinstalled Office 2003 in an attempt to solve this problem. (see
Roberts problem below) Help Please! Thanks!
