Cant use JPG as desktop anymore

Hi all

For some reason I can't use a JPG file as my desktop anymore. I suspect it
happened just after loading a bunch of security updates but am not totally
sure. The JPG files are not corrupt as I can open them in an ordinary image
viewer.

Thoughts please to (e-mail address removed) would be much appreciated.

Thanks Kelly.

I had already tried this after reading through the NG earlier and have tried
it again. The error I am getting is that it is having a problem running a
DLL as an APP. Whilst it nominates RUNDLL32 as the problem, it also names
MSHTML.DLL as the module.

Any further thoughts would be much appreciated.

Most welcome. I can only suggest from here re-running the 1173 version of
mshtml.dll. Download and install version 1173 of mshtml.dll from Microsoft
