Can't use DMA for second HD

O

overbored

I have a second HD on IDE 1:1 and I can't enable DMA on it (I select "DMA
if available" and it always says using PIO). Anytime I copy files to/from
it, the CPU maxes out. This is a rather new hard disk, so that means it
should have DMA. I went into the BIOS (AMI) and enabled the DMA Feature
(even though my first HD has been working fine), and that didn't change
anything. What should I do? Thanks in advance.
