Can't Uninstall Yahoo Toolbar

My brother decided to install Yahoo Messenger on my computer (not happy about
that) and in the process downloaded a bunch of unnecessary stuff from Yahoo.
One of them being the Yahoo Toolbar. When I go to Add/Remove programs I
select Remove but it doesn't do anything and the program remains on my
computer. When I open Internet Explorer and try to uninstall from the toolbar
it doesn't do anything either. Can I get rid of it simply by searching for
the file on my computer and deleting it or is there some other way to get rid
of it?

Hi,
Two things you might try:
1. Uncheck the Yahoo toolbar in IE> View> Toolbars. Close all IE windows
before trying to uninstall again from add/remove programs.
