Can't uninstall program because I need be an admin?

I am trying to uninstall a program (BDD 2007) from the Programs & Features
section in the control panel but it says something about Adminstrators only
being able to do so. My account is part of the admin group and no other
groups.

UPDATE:
After clicking on uninstall for the 5th time (of which the 4 previous times
I clicked it I was unable to because of the rights issue) BDD 2007 finally
uninstalled. I didn't do anything to suddenly give myself admin rights as I
was already a member of the admin group.

I've noticed other times I'll get a similar admin warning when trying to do
things even though I am an admin. Anyone know what is going on here?

Very strange!

In many cases you can right click on the icon and select Run
As...Administrator.

I've done that when trying to run a program but I don't think that "Run
as..." is possible when uninstalling a program.

Tom--

In the future to help prevent uninstall difficulty, a good habit to get into
is to use the WICU. It does not uninstall but it does get registry orphans
and damaged files out of the way of the uninstall and future install path to
facilitate both going smoothly. It is used frequently by the installation
setup teams at Redmond.
