Can't uninstall Canon multi-pass (ctree.dll)

I need to remove the multi-pass and add/remove won't work, canon said to ask
Microsoft. Canon said that the file ctree.dll in folder is a system file
and I need to unlink it. How do I remove it (ctree.dll) and what will it do
to my system? I'm running MS xp PRO with all updates...
 
don't know how to unlink it, but to delete it, just use
safe mode, right click-delete. good luck
