Can't type in web based e-mail

I can't seem to be able to type in the message block area of some web based e-mail, ie.. hotmail, and my daughters neopets.com email system? this came up all of a sudden, I can use yahoo, and everything else so I'm wondering if my kids have changed some setting on accident? Please Help
