can't turn on firewall

Security Center reports firewall is off. Options to turn it on are grayed out
and it says Group Policy is controlling my settings. Why, I am not on a
domain? I'm connected to my home wireless network. Perhaps I don't really
need the firewall behind a router, but it was on last night, before I
upgraded to this RTM build. How can I turn it on and how can I turn off Group
Policy settings.

Not knowingly. And it doesn't appear on my installed programs. I did have it
installed once under XP and had to uninstall it when I got Vista beta 2.

Although, the kind of messages I'm receiving seem to indicate I might have
two firewalls running... but that could be just stock wording.

But it's very mysterious. I fell asleep with my firewall on and RTM
installing via upgrade, and I woke up with RTM installed and firewall off.

After much trouble I discovered the MMC version "Windows Firewall with
Advanced Security" and that is what I must use to turn on and configure my
firewall. Windows Firewall Control Panel is grayed out, with reference to
"Group Policy." Yeah a group of one. OK so I use the MMC and I turn on all my
firewall. This may be the default for Ultimate. Not very discoverable.
