Can't Start Network Discovery

Had a BSOD yesterday and ever since then, Network Discovery won't start.
Also, MS SQL won't start & I think these two problems are related. I enabled
all services, just to see if something was wrong there but that did not help.
I can browse the net, send/receive email and other computers on my network
can see this one (running Vista Ultimate).
I think I need to re-install part of the networking stack but I'm not sure
as to how to do that.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Try (from an elevated command prompt)
netsh int ip reset

Reboot

Thanks, that fixed the local issue, I can not see all my other machines from
the Vista computer. I also had to reset my network adaptor, changing from
static ip, to non-static and back again. When opening Network, it says I'm
not connected to a network but I can see the other shares.
Thanks again for your help!
