Can't sign out from google

Hi folks,

Everytime I attempt to sign out from personalized google page or view
gmail messages, I get this message:

"We're sorry...

.... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer
virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process
your request right now.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In
the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been
infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to
make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious
software.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on
Google.

and it shows a crooked word.

Is this a virus or what??

so your just clicking the logout link and its showing this yeah? well
your best bet would be to email google support because it works fine
for me. it doesnt mean you have a virus, just means perhaps your
browser is sending an invalid identifier or something like that.

Have you tried purging all of your tempoary internet files and cookies?
Have you ran an up to date virus scan?
