Hi,
I just applied today's critical patch, and can no longer
sign in to Windows Messenger. It displays the message
that "sign in to .NET Messenger service failed because
service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again
later" Of course, the service status shows that it is
available and my hotmail account logs in fine.
This is with Windows Messenger 4.7.2009 on Windows XP
Home SP1. Any ideas on what the patch may have done that
would cause this, and what I can do to rectify (aside
from rollback)?
Thanks,
Manfred
