I have 2 XP Pro machines on a network through a hub.

A can see and access My Documents on the B, but B can see My Documents on
the A but can't open the folder (error message saying \\A\My Documents is
not sccessible)

I have deliberately disabled Simple File Sharing on both, but I can't seem
to Share My Documents on A. I can go through the motions, but it never gets
the shared folder icon. Sub-folders can be set up and do get the icon, but
also cant be accessed from B.

Windows Firewall is Off, File and Printer Sharing is On. Norton disabled.

A can ping B and B can Ping A

One curious thing; if I do a search for Computer A from B it finds it twice
(??)

Anyone got any suggestions?

Make sure that you have set firewall permissions on both machines,
though one seems to be visible.

Windows Firewall is off on both machines.

Norton Internet Security is disabled on both machines.

Curious thing is, on Machine A, I can go to My Network Places then navigate
through

View Workgroup Computers > MSHome (they are both visible) > Computer A > My
Documents ...I get \\A\My Documents is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource etc..

And this is on the same computer!

Just noticed the bottom of the error message, it says "not enough server
storage".

Checked the Lanmanserver settings in the registry, and IRPStackSize is set
at Decimal 15, which should be OK (?)

Please I need a help, i don't know what is this msn: unable to find an API
adapter, Please
