can't share both ways

Running 2 XP, SP-2, home edition PC's on wired network. Has worked just
great until recently. PC#1 cannot read shared folder contents of PC #2. Also
it cannot copy or move files to same shared folder(s). In Explorer view, PC
#1 shows that it moved/copied the file to PC #2; but when I go to PC #2; it
is not there. Also the shared folder icons in PC #1 ,for the network; are
not the standard yellow folder icons. Don't know if that means anything. PC
#2 works as always. I can copy, move and read shared folders on PC #1.

make sure pc 1 isn't on work offline mode. Check in the explorer file menu.
