Can't Set Tab Control to "Transparent"

I created a tab control inside a form and set the BackStyle to
"Transparent". However, it doesn't seem to work. The tab control
looks opaque in both design view and forms view. When I do the same
thing inside another Access application, it behaves correctly (I just
dragged the form into the second application). I've looked through
the options for both Access applications to see what might explain
this, but I can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

If you are using Access 2003, try disabling Themed Controls. Tools ->
Options... -> Forms/Reports tab. Untick the box 'Use Windows Themed
Controls on Forms'.

If you need the Themed Controls I don't know of any way to make the
Tab controls 'transparent'.

Peter,

Thanks for the tip! That worked. I noticed also that without Themed
Controls checked, the corners on the command buttons are not rounded,
which is what I would prefer. Oh, well.
