I wished I had your problem when I was going through what your going
through. I wanted to set my home page to msn(lol) and it kept going to
googles(Dell) home page even though my home page was set to msn.com. Norton
AntiV 2006 had a home page setting, oh the problems with two actions
happening for the same thing. I uninstalled Googles Desktop and Toolbar and
it was still returning to it's default setting. One day I opened Dell's Media
Center and found there were two internet connections for this feature... one
for Dell's Internet and one for my so called internet. So, I unchecked Dell's
Internet from the Media Center, saved the settings and left. Still had the
problem and went back and found it was checked. My attitude about this is...
this is MY COMPUTER FOR ME TO ENJOY, NOT FOR SOME SOFTWARE FORCING ME TO BE
UNHAPPY!!

I believe changing the Registry default setting for Home Page would be
easist way to resolve this problem. But I don't know where and what it's
under.

I had to log into my Admin to get the link. But, let me start with I used
Microsoft
OneCare, SpyBot, Ad-Aware and Reformatted my computer and still had the
problem of setting my Home Page. I STRONGLY SUGGEST scanning your computer
for Spyware before turning to Registry.
