cant send replys out from craigs list

I used to be able to respond to craigslist ads in my desktop but can no
longer reply to ads on this new laptop. Any suggestions?

You can start by telling us what your preferred email method is.
Do you use a Hotmail account via your web browser, or do you
use some email program?

I use hotmail but everytime I try to respond to a craigslit ad I get an error
message saying the host SMPT protocal could not be found or windows POP3 is
not activated.

You're welcome. If I may ask one more thing of you I would greatly appreciate
it. How do you decompress /unzip a folder. I downloaded palm one software
since I could not find my cd. Problem is I cant get the handheld to hotsync
with the computer.

When you double-click on a .ZIP file, Windows should automatically launch
an extraction applet.
