Can't send mail

Don't know what happened but as of this morning, I cannot send mail. The
send button depresses when clicked but no action takes place - message just
gets moved to drafts. I have tried dragging the message from drafts to
outbox and then doing a send/recieve. That does not work either although I
do receive email.

Please help!

I was having the same problem. After pressing Send/Receive the dialog box did not appear. Messages hung in Outbox.
Using webmail I deleted some junk messages, restart and now it's ok.

Outlook2000 SP-3
Internet Mail Only

sending.

By the way, when testing the account settings, the send works because I
receive the test message on the webmail server.
