Cant send mail with windows mail

HELP. i am gettin the following message every time i try to send mail. It was
workin fine. I have changed nothing, done nothing, so why is it not workin.

Subject 'Angels at Heart', Account: 'Main Email Account', Server:
'smtp.blueyonder.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 HELP', Port:
25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

Would someone please tell me what to do to correct it. Using AVG and vista

You have SSL checked in your mail client settings. Go back in and uncheck
it..

I too have an identical problem running Vista & AVG, get this message:The
connection to the server has failed. Account: 'POP3.tiscali.co.uk', Server:
'POP3.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I have never had problems before, i have checked SSL in settings but it is
not checked (i have tried checking it also but that didnt work)

Any ideas??? is it a conflict between Vista & AVG?
 
The most likely reason for that error is interference from your antivirus.
Uninstall AVG, then reinstall, but be sure to choose the 'custom' install
option. That will enable you to uncheck the installation of its troublesome
email scanning module.
